If the lug pattern is that of like a Camaro/Firebird, the wheels will fit. Steel wheels off GM vehicles I was told will also work, so I couldn't see why it wouldn't work with S-10 wheels. I have seen Camaro wheels on S-10's and Sonoma's before, fitted on what you wanted; Mud Terrain tires. So I think it will work with a P38.
Plus being they are 15" wheels (which I still believe will fit), rubber will be cheaper.

Wel maybe if Dmike had said something productive regarding my question instead of "Why would you put chevy rims on a Rover???
No class at all. Mike" I wouldnt of called him an ass. Granted he may be some God on this board with million posts but he didnt even attempt to help me with my question. On the other had Pat did do exactly that. Thank you Pat for making me a little more inform on the vehicle I love. Latter |

I was under the impression that if you're going to be using them for off-roading you might want to make sure they're strong enough to handle the beating. I know a lot of the steel wheels used on some jeeps will bent easily when put to the test on a rover.

Soo, I found that chevy s-10 steel wheels will fit. I'm not sure of thier strenght but their prices are dirt cheap.I sourced 5 for 75 dollars. They are 15x7 and have a 5x4.75 bolt pattern. Will see how they fit once I recieve them. Thanks veryone.

I don't think they will fit 'cause the stud holes might be too small. FYI, the LR rims are hubcentric and not lugcentric. Our trucks are pretty heavy and LR designed them to be hubcentric for a reason. As fas as Chevy rims being cheaper than stock LR steel rims, I don't know. You can get stock steel rims pretty cheap these days. One more thing, I'm sure the LR steel rims are stronger than the checy ones. Just my opinion.
Good luck.

Well I recieved my chevy s-10 rims and they fit perfectly on my 97 p38. They are the stock steelies and actually look good. I was worried that the bolts would be too big to fit on the rim. They fit exactly. Lets hope they dont all bend to hell the first time i us them off road. thanks for the help.
