RRS Rear Hatch Rattles? - Land Rovers Only

My 2006 RR Sport has a serious rear upper hatch rattle that won't go away. I've had two dealers try to fix the problem (I would guess it's been in to the dealers at least eight times for this issue) but the rattle persists. It seems to be caused by a poor fit on the upper hatch latch mechanism.

I'm new to your forum and would really appreciate any advice on this problem (or learning that others have similar issues). Frankly, as much as I love the sport, this thing drives me so crazy I'm considering trading it in on a new X5 (but I 'd rather fix the rattle!).

Help!
