Stepping on Brake(98 4.6HSE) triggers 3 lights to flash on Instrument Panel?

Hello all...

Symptom: When I'm driving and step on the brake (not every time, but it seems to happen after I haven't stepped on brake for at least 30-60 seconds...but still doesnt happen every time), it makes the 3 lights on the left hand side of the dash (srs, ABS, etc) flash simultaneously for a split second then turn off. This has been going on for several months now, but i'm finally getting around to trying to fix it.

What the heck is this??

I would suggest that you have a failing accumulator. Lack of pressure tends to trip all of the dash warning lights(brake,abs.tc). Also read my thread below for any other symptoms. Hope this helps.
