It is a bad habit to "tar everyone with the same brush". But here in the states it is amazing to me that someone that works on them all day doesn't even drive one. Most of the guys at the local dealership don't drive Landies. (they can't afford to ).
When I need work I can't do, I take my truck to a guy that drives Land Rovers.
That's the key I believe.

Angry

The saga continues...

I had an alarm fault on the display this morning "Alarm Fault - LH rear door". Called the technician and he in turn called the factory rep. The thought now is that the remote key receiver is somehow being "tripped" in my garage. He is forwarding instructions to disconnect the receiver.

I do not live near radio transmission towers or cell towers. I do have two garage openers and wireless internet.

Does anyone have any thoughts???

$4500 in repairs and climbing...

Thanks Okie, I'm finding it tough to keep my sense of humor. I guess the good news is that it's only a car.

Thank God I have:
1) two beautiful, healthy 6 month old twins
2) a beautiful, loving wife
3) food on the table
4) my health
5) so much more

Time to keep in all in perspective...

I can't afford to drive one, therefore I know nothing about them! Interesting thought, good job we don't all think that about aircraft engineers.

You just need to find a good local guy to fix that Rover.
Then your life would truly be complete.

Great wife
3 great kids, 21, 13, 11
Nice roof over my head, nicer one being built
food on the table
excellent health
1993 Range Rover that runs most of the time

If I had a nice Series 109 completely restored I'd think I was in heaven.
