Default 01 disco2 powertrain code p1668?

hey guys,i had a powertrain code pop up today.its a pending code...P1668.can anyone identify this code for me?thanks a bunch

This is what i get.

""P1668. Engine anti-theft signal circuit high. Serial link open circuit.""

A quick read has something to do with the ECM and BCM in the "immobilisation system." Have either of yours been replaced? Or have you messed with the alarm system?

Now I remember hearing that one before and I think a good Rover mechanic, not the dealer, is in order for this repair.

Did the code pop up the same day? try and clear it to see if it comes back.
