Is there any tricks to replacing the window regulator. I went to the local dealer today and picked up a new one. I have the door panel off because I need to get the window up on Saturday evening. Any help would be great.
Thanks, Brent |

Brent - if the 02 has the same type regulator as the 96, maybe I can help. My 96 right rear window stopped working. When I checked it I found that all it needed was a new plastic slide. Dealer said they do not sell the slide; would need to purchase an entire new regulator. I had a spare plastic slide from a 300SD Mercedes. Split it apart, ground it down slightly to fit the L Rover and presto - had it fixed. Never gave me a problem again.
