Default 03 Discovery Check Engine Run's Rough

Afternoon Discovery Fan's,

Need some help. My Discovery runs rough at higher speeds.

I changed plugs, Wires & Coil Pack runs better but still shooting codes.

P1300:Manufacturer Controlled Ignition System or Misfire
P0301:Cylinder 1 MisFire Detected
P0305:Cylinder 5 MisFire Detected

P0130:O2 Sensor Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Sounds like it's time for some routine maintenance plugs, wires and new 02's.

Add oil change and filters.

Yeah this is why I asked about the plugs and wires....I wonder which brand they used. If acceptable plugs and wires were used, this might be a carbon buildup issue, which was why I asked about the grade of fuel used.

plugs and wires seem ok

gas is not.....ouch maybe the 2 years of regular has gummed up the engine with lots of carbon. The fix is not pretty.

start running premium today. I will PM you with a name of a product that I came highly recommended, which might help to blast out some of that carbon you have (I was told not to publicly list it).

Only surefire fix assuming that its carbon buildup is a valve job, which will run probably $2k. Thats why you shouldn't use regular.

Also, blast some seafoam through your system.....a couple times at least.
