Long story short, my wife slammed her car keys in the rear cargo door. It snapped 4 keys, one being the disco key. The remote is fine, just the key part snapped off. Can I just replace this part, it looks like it can be removed from the remote fob, not sure though. If so where can I buy this?
Thanks |

They don't sell that part separate as far as I know. Same thing happened to me, but it was crushed in my pocket.
I would suggest getting a basic blank key without the remote. Then just put your old remote on the same key chain. The remote will still work fine so there is no reason to get rid of it. |

Ya I was looking for a spare key for mine and came across this site that sells just the blade for the factory key for 13.52 puonds, I think that like around 15-20 dollars.

you can do a disco one key that the dealership cuts anyway before cutting a disco two key. its only eight bucks so if they screw up then they are fine.
but ask the dealership to cut a key without the remote. now there is a certain cut they have to do thats special so don't go anywhere else. I say this cause the cut on a disco two key is a little shorter then the standard blank.
