'03 Pushbar on a '00?

Hey everybody!

I have a 2000 Disco II and just found a pushbar that came off a 2003 Disco. Will this mount up or is it a year over the limit? I can't remember if the model year for my application is '99-'02 or '03

i have a buddy that put an ARB bumper on his 2000 disco 2 that was made for a 03-04. So I think it will work.

Yes, you can make it fit...

Would it look good?
No, you would have to do a lot of trimming.


2003 has a different lower front bumper...you could do a conversion, change your headlights/trim and front grill and lower front bumper with new foglights, and then it would work cleanly!

Hmm.... I know that the grill guards are designed for each model to work with the airbag sensor up front.... I would be a little nervous about modding it without being sure that the sensor will still work....

+1 '03-'04 had redesigned bumper & headlights. The factory brush guard bolts up to the frame (like the stock tow hook) and is made to fit over the bumper cover. since the bumper cover from '02 to '03 changed it won't match up well and may require some trimming to get the brush guard to fit, unless you swap it out to the newer bumper. Also the headlights themselves changed so the openings in the bar won't line up w/ headlights.
