I own a 2002 LR2. I noticed my clock is not illuminated? Radio works any suggestions?
Also, I am in need of searching for detailed instructions on how to correctly install my Hella fog lamps. Can anyone assist? Thanks Chris ![]() |

Old thread: time clock= no ilumination
On the clock, its simple....there is a teeny-tiny bulb behind the clock. First buy the replacment from your local dealer....its not cost effective to ship it from roversnorth or somewhere else. Then use a credit card or something and push it underneath the bottom of the clock to wedge the tab out so you can pull the clock out.. here is a diagram of the assembly on a DI, yours will be slightly different but the same idea: |

I have Hella 500's on my truck. I have them wired into the trucks fog lights. So you do not have to buy a switch or do any mods. As for the instructions that come with the lights. They are hard to figure out. I just used good old trial and error. If you go back in some of the old posts. You might find some better answers. Sorry I could not help out more.

I have wired two of the three hellas together on one relay as is customary. However, they do not light. I have checked the power leaving relay and it is okay. However when I check the power going from the relay to the lights there seems to be no power coming through. Here is what I have done. Lights are set up to come on with high beams. I have two splices on one high beam wire (is this okay?). I have switched the relays out with same result, nada. Does the length of wire going from relay to lights play a role in not working. Is there such a think as too long of wire? All the wire is 14g. The only thing I have not tried is to switch out one of the hellas and place it in a working light. Finally, I plan on wiring the third hella by itself through a different relay. Could have too may lights grounded to one ground location? I am very frustrated and could use guidance over here.
Thanks in advance peeps!

I solved my problem. Seems like it was quite simple the splice on the highbeam wire came off. Should have checked the simple things first. Glad to report all my Hellas are on and looking cool, of course and ready for the ranch.
