I wish to change the standard player from my Discovery for a CD player, but I would like the steering column controls to work. I have seen the land rover single cd player part # STC61641 which is fitted to the freelander. There is no part listing for my 2001 model. Does anyone know whether this unit would be compatible with my discovery. Any help and or suggestions will be appreciated.
Best wishes Paul. |

Recently I saw an ad for an Alpine CD changer in a local car magazine.
Price was 550 Dhs whilst Land Rover want 4,000 Dhs Anyway when I went to the shop to pick it up I decided to go for a radio CD player although it was a bit more expensive but easier to change CDs whilst on the move As for steering wheel controls, have them on my 2004 Disco, great to use but value for money in changing steering wheels depends on how much disposable income you have.

Go to www.crutchfiled.com
it will show you a sony cd player with a optional harness to retain the factory wheel control.
