By "very stiff", I mean I don't want anyone but me driving this car anywhere until I get this dealt with. I am a big, strong guy (6'4" 230, and a triathlete with a lot of cycling power), and I have a hell of a time working the brakes.
So I'm going to try and fix this, ASAP. What is everyone's opinion of my problem? 1. Bad brake booster? 2. Bad vacuum line? 3. Bad master cylinder? 4. Just need to bleed the system? 5. I'm just a big wuss, and I need to get stronger in order to operate my brakes? I'm guessing there is a vacuum leak somewhere, based on the sound when I press the pedal. Anyone have any experience with this? |

Instead of talking so much about your self, be more specific about the brakes, both from the stiffness and the noise. How many miles on the truck, when were the brakes last replaced?
