Default AC or Fan trouble

Ok, I have a strange problem that has recently came up. I was riding down the road last week and all of the sudden my AC stops or rather my fan quits blowing completely. The AC panel is still lit up but no fan, so I turned it off for a few minutes. A couple miles down the road I hit the power button and the fan blows for a couple minutes and stops again. So now it occasionaly will blow for about 5 -10 seconds when I start the car and that is it. I feel the AC compressor kicking on and off with I turn the power button, I just dont have any fan at ll. I dont think it can be a fuse since it will blow some. Anyone have any thoughts????

Hello!

I'm just throwing this out there, but it could be the A/C fan belt.

I know people will chime in eventually!

Happy Rovering! :]

Well it is not a belt problem, could be a resistor problem, but if it were that I don't believe it would be on all fan speeds, so I am thinking either a loose connection or your fan motor is gone.

I was thinking the fan motor also. I guess I was hoping for something very easy since the oil light trouble just popped up. So, would I be assuming correctly that I would pretty much have to take the dash out to change the blower motor????

No. Look in the passenger side foot well. That black thing hanging down is your blower motor.
