Default ACE hydrolic arms

Hi there can any one see any issues if I trim the bracket that holds the panard rod as per this photo to get some more down movement in my ACE hydrolic arm its binding up a bit im getting 5inch up travel from the suspension still needs a few more tweeks I was intending to trim it back about 5mm down 20mm you can see on one of these photo where the mark is from the ACE binding
