I checked around for the TJM I have on mine, and can't seem to find them available in the States, but I LOVE this bumper and personally I think it looks better than the ARB. I am building a rear for mine, so I can't help you there.

I need the gas.
Have you ever sat on the edge of the bed with one shoe on and wondered if you were just getting ready or going to bed?
Having owned a TJM I can tell you they are pretty weak and lack recovery points without the winch tray.
If you don't off road very hard it may be fine for you.

Good question, a bumper for what purpose, with or with out a winch, looks or protection?

get a RTE bumper if you want something strong, if you're going for looks get an ARB without the crush cans (and if you can, box it in and add some supports underneath).
Well I just wnat to hear everyone's side of bumpers out thier. I'm looking for the best all around bumpers that ready for what ever i can throw at it. BEST BANG FOR THE BUCK.

Best Bang for buck? Homemade.
Kidding aside, most folks recommend rovertym. I like the fact you can accually customize your order to how you like it.
I've been told safari guard is the best, but I've never accually seen one. $$$
I've been told that ARB's are not as good as they advertise, but they are good for the 'average' user. And they are great looking bumper, as are TJM's. Both are Airbag approved, so it satisfies your insurance company.
Overseas, Devon 4x4 makes some pretty sick bumpers, and after shipping they are about on par as a safari guard. They are probably the best off-road bumper I've seen because it basically is like not having a bumper at all. A couple guys around here run them.

Oh and yes a winch of course .. If I'm already spending the money for a bumper might as well get another excuse for a winch which is always handy when you need some serious help. And that is adds some beefcake to the front end for added eyecandy.
