Default Cargo door broken

Hey guys. I've got an '03 Disco II. It started getting a little sticky on the cargo door handle, and then one day it got stuck. I was able to pry it back, but now I can't get the door open, and it won't open from the inside either. Any help anybody?

When was the last time you cleaned and lubed the latch a lever assembly?

I'm having almost the same issue however I can manually unlock it from inside by pulling the handle otherwise, I can't get it unlocked. The actuator in the door clicks when I hit the lock/unlock button but the door remains locked. I don't mean to sound ignorant about the issue, im still new to the Land Rover world.

Chack out my post on Benji's rear door latch/handle thread. Maybe it will help.

Default lube

i had this problem about a month ago, I would have to pry the handle back into the close position. so get out your fav rust inhibator and give it a good shot, let it soak for a while and repeat if nessary.
hope it works.
