Central locking problem - need help
Since 4 months I'm a happy owner of a 2004 Discovery II with about 70,000 miles on it. All is well except one thing.
From day one I had the following central locking problem which I don't succeed to find it's cause:
Three out of five doors: 1)The driver door +2)back right door +3)trunk door all act the following:
When I press my remote 'close' button (key) once they will not close (only right front and back left close). Nevertheless the alarm is engaged.
When I press the remote 'close' button twice quickly they all close.
Only now, when I press to open, the three doors stay closed and will only open manually. The two others open no problem.
I do hear some faint clicking noise in the three doors when I press the open button so I suppose there is some kind of signal.
Also because I bought the car like that I don't know if the problem appeared gradually or at the same time in all doors.
Anyone has any suggestions on how to fix this?
