Question Crank Case Sensor

How big a job is it to change a crank case sensor on my 2002 Discovery II SE

Thanks,

Landy II

For many people I have spoken with, once you find it, it is a pretty quick job, 15 minutes or so.

It is not hard at all, you will see it's location on the rave cd, very simple to do!

Anyone know what page it's on? I'm going to try and tackle this today

If it's under Electrical System, I'm baffled...

I was just looking at this on the Rave CD, in the Workshop manual it is under the Engine Management System - V8 section then under Repairs it shows as 'Sensor - crankshaft position (CKP)' There is also some information in the same section under Description - Engine Management. I thought I had a bad Crankshaft Sensor but turns it out it was just a loose connection to the inertia switch, which was shutting the engine off.
