Default Crank shaft and Connecting rod Bearing Question

Had my D2 crank shaft reground so they all conform. Measurement is 2.1817. Machine shop gave me .254in Connecting rod bearings, but upon installation, torqued to 38ft lbs, the engine is to tight to turn over. Anyone have any thoughts on this ?

did not plastiguage it. Will pick some up and try it this weekend. I reused the connecting rod cap bolts. Think it is worth replacing them? Not damaged, but not sure if they are stretch bolts.

Did you lube the bearing face & crankshaft journals? You need to replace your bolts. They are stretch bolts. Yes they might work OK if you did reuse them but it really isn't worth the risk.
