Hey guys - been reading alot about front driveshafts here.. great info.
I've got an 03 Disco SE with about 64K on it now, original front driveshaft.. so it seems like time, right? Been looking into rebuilding with greasable, buying Tom Woods, etc... But here is my question. why on earth is the stock Rover 03-04 front driveshaft 650 bucks and the 99-02 stock Rover front driveshaft about 300 dollars less? what's the actual difference of the part? I would think that it doesn't matter since there were no changes to trannies, diffs or axles right? Or am I missing something? |
