Question Disco II Check Engine Light

Just got it back from the dealer and they said everything was fine after running a full diagnostic check on the car. Anyone have the slightest idea on how to get the light to go off? I'm asking because my girlfriend won't drive it, not like that is a bad thing, but she is afraid its her fault.

Strange... No codes at all were detected???

For what it's worth, try the taking off and putting back the gas cap... It's a long shot, but it may work...

Call the dealer and find out why they charged you some $$ amount and didn't find out why the light was on.

I am having that problem right now. Right before I bought it, it had some code for 1 of the O2 sensors. They salesman got the dealership to replace it. Then right after I bought it ...... like 1 mile down the road...... it came back on, I took it back, they took it to the dealership and they traced it all the way back to the ECU and said the code was there, the light was on, but there is no problem with the sensor or the wiring, one of the mechanics said he has seen the ECU's do that before on that code, and that they will replace the ECU under the 8 year 80,000 federal emissions warranty because it prevents me from getting an inspection sticker.

By the way, that was 3 weeks ago .... I'm still waiting on the paperwork and the part, and that reminds me I need to call them and ask what the hell?
