I'm pulling the follow codes:
P1174 Lambda control adaption fault bank 2.Last occurrence - maximum signal P1171 System Too lean, Bank A & Bank B P1319 Misfire with Low/Empty FuelDrive cycle C:Signal out of range - above maximum P1590 Rough road signal implausible Drive cycle A:Signal implausible P0305 Cylinder 5 Misfire Detected I've got a 2000 Disco II with 125000 miles. Purchase it a year ago with 80000. Was going to replace the plugs. Pulled a few; they are almost new. Am I looking at a MAFI problem, O2 sensors, Wires, or other problem? Also, reading posts I noticed there are members that either supply parts or have good sources. I'm willing to look at those options, especially if they support this forum. Regards, Bruce |

I drive a rough 1/3 mile driveway. As to the O2's and wires. I don't know. I'm not opposed to changing them. Wires look like OEM stuff, don't know the age. Bruce |

actually the misfire code 1319, and the lean code and the oxygen sensor code are all related. by going to max voltage that is telling the comp the oxygen sensor is lean thus producing a lean code. the misfire code is from low fuel.
put plug number five on it and clear the codes and make sure no air leaks. if you get the code 0733 or 0734 then replace the maf.

This thing is running rough. Really rough! Rough like I'll take the truck today. The wife commented that it always runs rough on wet days. Could this be related? As to the other questions, plug wires look original. Pulled/replace #5 plug. I'm sure I will get codes on a drive today. |

Go order a set of Magnacor 8 mm wires from Tony at Cerrones/LRRF, 650-365-4145. The replace the plugs using a Champion dual Platinum or the Bosch Plus 4's, them get back to us.
Do not buy a set of wires from your local auto parts store, they won't hold up. Mike |

Took a drive. This thing is almost un-drivable! Codes P0305 and P1590 fired again with the P0305 firing several times. Will let you know once wires arrive. Bruce |

wires arrived and replaced, (what bone-head put the coil packs there?), plugs replaced. Seems to run fine now, thanks. Still get the P1590 when on rough roads. Plan on doing complete brake job soon so I will look at the system then. Thanks for the help. regards, bruce |
