The oil pressure warning light on my 2003 Disco V8 (Auto) lights up every time that the vehicle is stationary, when driving the light goes out again.
It seems that the moment the rpm exceeds 600rpm, the warning light goes off. The oil level is OK, don't know what could be wrong - Any suggestions |

You may first want to do a check with a pressure gauge to see what the pressure actually is.
This can be done by removing the pressure switch and installing the gauge. It should be about 50psi at 2000 RPM. You could also have this done at an independent shop or at the dealer.

03's are know for having failing oil pumps hence blown motors, don't screw with it or drive it much till you get it checked or you will have a hug repair bill for buying a new engine.
