my disco 2 has started making a strange ticking noise when first started up on investigation if was found to the ace block underneath below drivers seat,when i remove fuse controling said unit the noise stops any ideas on replacing cost for this unit and how had is it to do..noise is contsant when corning

Is the clicking sound constant or does ir stop after a few seconds? My ECU unit for the ACE went bad on mine and it was opening the valve every few seconds. I think the new ECU was around $800. I don't know the price for the valve block it you have to replace it. I am sure it won't be cheap.
