Good Day
I need to get a drive belt (fan belt) for my discovery 2. I have been to my local spares shop but my disco is not in the book. Is there a number of some sort that I can give to the spares shop that will help them get the correct part Will appreciate the help.

Good day to you as well. I am new to Rovering overall but have been spending my free time reading through this bb. To that end, the consensus appears to be Atlantic British - Land Rover Parts & Land Rover Accessories | Range Rover, Discovery, LR3, LR2, Defender, Freelander and Land Rover Series Parts & Accessories for all your Rovering parts needs. There are several other suppliers on the web, but this one gets solid reviews from the members on this site.
All the best, Todd |

As a "world" market vehicle, the Disco II V8 can have up to 4 different belts, to cater for a/c or no a/c compressor, and ACE or no ACE pump.
In the USA, I presume airconditioning would be standard and ACE is optional, so there's possibly just two choices for you. Why don't you just get it from your LR dealer? It's not a horribly expensive replacement part. |

If you are in the states, they all have a/c, with the ACE, you will need to get the longer belt because of the additional pump.
If you can't find it go to Atlantic British or Rover Connection. Mike |
