Default Question on unplugging sensors ...

I am removing the O2 sensor that comes up bad on the OBD codes, but have a simple question to ask of those who are more experianced than I. I have removed the joined connectors from the mount, but having a hard time seperating the connectors from each other.

Any tips on how these pull apart? It looks like there is some kind of clip holding them together. I sure don't want to damage the connector and create a bigger job. Thanks in advance.

Look carefully at the connector and you will see a ang at one end that you push in then pull the two apart,a small screwdriver usually helps.

Default Thanks to all ...

The OBD code was spot on in identifying the bad O2 sensor. It has been replaced and no more check engine light. Now to address the 3 Amigos!!

That code is not on my list, didn't your scanner give you any additional information?
How is your truck driving?

Hi Mike,
The truck is driving great. The scanner did not give any other information. I have turned the Engine Light off and will see if it comes on again, then I will definitely know there is a problem. Maybe it was just a hiccup. My truck is a 2003 Disco.
Thanks Mike
