Default Discovery On Testbook

Good Day All

I finally managed to get my Disco onto Testbook at an independant garage. Full diagnostic tests were done. The following was found.

Ace sensor, the one in the roof is out of range and requires replacement. Will replace sensor and reactivaste ACE in December

ABS Modulator shuttle valve failure. Looking to source shuttle valve kit as soon as I can.

Right front ABS sensor intermittent signal. Have spare will install after shuttle valve repair.

All other sensors were checked. MAF is working perfect.

Disco Mike, I would like to thank you for your help but I see now that the only way to get a true idea of the problem, diagnostic checks need to be done.

I have found a very helpfull independent garage.

PS. I have also replaced the top radiator hoses to the new specification, not a very expensive set to buy. I was plesantly surprised.

dont use a shuttle valve kit....rebuild the abs pump or have someone do it for you (places in uk and us will rebuild for around $300 usd or 195 gbp. The rebuild will restore the pump to better than new factory condition which will ensure hassle free operation for many years.
