In the engine bay - left hand side, is where the jack is. The other tools are supposed to be in the bag in the back door.

That's where I found them! Right next to a hot engine. What a great idea! The D2 was on the down slope of Imogene Pass leaving Telluride, CO for Ouray, CO just below 13K ft. Everything was hot and he was the 3rd in a group of 12.

Luckily it was on the uphill side so no one fell down the mountain hugging a flat tire.

There are two possible things you may be asking:

1. The lugnuts have a thin cap on top of them that could get loose... you don't have to take them off, the lug wrench fits on it.

2. I believe some D2s have 'locking' lug nuts, in your kit should be the attachment to unlock them.

Just a suggestion. I'm assuming you don't have an owners manual. Go and please get one year correct for your truck. As opposed with many bland manuals from other makes, the Disco ll manual can give you a LOT, and I mean a LOT of info. when it comes to these issues, figuring out about all the dash lights and their meaning and all the featuresa nd how to's of the climate control and other dash gadgets for example.

Try the "bay", or www.roversland.com might have them used too, if not, www.books4cars.com have them brand new and at less than dealer price. Hope this helps.
