Question Do you need to replace rear DiscoII U-joints?

Wondering this, since I have to replace my front ones? Do they also fail and how do you now when to change them?

There's only one in the rear with a stock drive shaft. If you are changing the front go ahead and change the rear. It's only going to cost about $13 more if you get the Neapco u-joints at Advance Auto. Part # PDQ 0005.
