Just got back from a trip from East TN to Ilse of Palms, SC...round trip mileage equalled 1000 miles. '99 DII with 115K miles, New 8mm magnecore wires, NGK Iridium plugs, seafoamed intake and gas tank last week, Shell V-Power 93 octane, air conditioning never turned off, four passengers and luggage-averaged 16mpg going (TS Fay headwind the entire way) and 18 mpg returning (tail wind). Rover ran beautiful at 70 mph.
