Unhappy Don't know the correct name for this, Need help.

HI,
I'm new here, does anyone know the correct name for the plastic molding that is situated behind the rear doors? I have a 2002 Disco and the molding behind the driver's side rear door is broken, Thanks.

Inside or outside the truck?
Why not just call the dealer and order it?

Right behind the rear passengers windows there are these plastic moldings, You have the pillar post moldings and then the actual window begans, and when the window ends there is another molding. I just don't know what the other ones are. I just have not had time to go to the dealer with my busy schedule so any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

Hi,
I've just looked on the rave cd, I think the part your after is called a (D-post side finisher) it's a rounded plastic molding finished in polished black and is positioned where the rear door closes on to the the body next to the quarter light of the door.

Phil.

Discofacelift.... maybe you can help me as well... I'm needing the the exterior body pc that runs up the front of the A pillar, from the hood to the roof. mine is busted and don't have the slightest clue what to call it to even begin to look for it. I don't want to go to the dealer and pay the extra money for a pc of plastic. Anyone that has an insight on where one might be able to get this would be great. Thanks all!!

Hi blazer7,
The part you want is called (Side Finisher-Windscreen) the left side part number is DCB500060PMA and the right side is DCB500070PMA

I don't know how much you guys pay for parts in the states but this company will export all over the world and there prices are ok, they also do a price converstion in to dollars or euro's. The finishers cost around 20 dollars brand new in the box.

Here is the link to Rimmer Bros

Land Rover Discovery Parts Spares & Accessories - Rimmer Bros

You could always try at breakers yard.

Hope this helps.

Hi nahsrover,
The part number for the D-Post Finisher is DDG100381 I'm not sure if there is a right and left side part or if they are the same.
