door lock problem
the back door lock on the drivers side will not lock if i use the key fob or the lock inside the car. also if it is already un locked than it wont lock. if i lock the car up than i can still walk up to it an open up the door and then the alarm goes off (as expected) i dont know what the deal is.

what year???
You most likely need a new actuator. As for the alarm still protecting the truck, trying it should answer that question.
