My '01 D II with 80k has original shocks and steering damper. I found an '02 with 15k
being parted out, so I grabbed the newer parts. The guy unhooked the drag link with the steering damper attached and gave it all to me. Upon inspection, I found the ball joint seals are slightly torn, so I looked at my originals and they are torn also. My RAVE manual shows how to RnR, but no one seems to sell just the ball joints. Any one got some help for me? Do they tear right off the bat... Last edited by dmogie : 08-01-2008 at 12:52 PM. Reason: spelling |

On a D2, the rod end is crimped onto the rod. You'll need the whole thing if you want to change it.
