Default Driver/Passenger Side Seat Heaters

Hi all, today both seat heaters have stopped heating the seats which the switches are activated. Can anyone advise on how to determine if I need a new pair of heaters, or how to determine if the fuses are bad. I'd hate to have to take it to the dealership for this fix.

Please advise,

Thanks!!

Warren

Have you checked the fuses under each seat? Also check the fuse block under the dash on the drivers side, on my 99 D2 there is a fuse, #15, that takes care of the seat heaters as well as the lighter.
Read your manual, it will have a list for your year.

Thanks Mike! I just checked all the fuses, and the ones underneath both seats, plus the ones under the steering wheel are intact. So I'm guessing that something went wrong with both heating elements at the same time. Oh well. Anyone have an idea as to how much this costs to fix?
