Made myself a dual battery tray. Its not 100% yet though.

Going to replace the hardware that way no studs poke at the battery and maybe paint

On a side note, can anyone provide a wiring diagram for the batteries so that one runs the car and the other runs the accessories winch, fridge etc whilst charging both at the same time?

Thanks in advance.

Try running parelle for a while, I have for the last 11 years and with 2 Yellow Tops and they have averaged around 7 years of life prior to failing and my winch pulls like a mule.

Two thoughts, a winch will pull harder on dual batteries and if you drill a few large 1" holes in the battery box, it will allow the batteries to run cooler.

Nice work, looks good! Make sure to put some hold downs on those batteries. Are those size 34 batteries?

If that is the same Yellow Top as mine, yes, they are 34's.

I use a simple pull strap to hold them down and they are 34's just like Mike's.
