Default ehh brake switch

Hey guys,
The other night i couldent get my car out of park and my brake lights wouldent get on. after like pupming hte pedal and fiddling with it for a while they started to work again but now im not sure when it will and will not work. i have my nj state inspection this weekend and im freaking out that it has to work

any help is greatly appriciated

Go buy a new brake switch and replace it, what's the problem??

Some auto parts stores will order them, why not just call you local dealer, if you don't have a local one, call one and have them overnight one to you.

dear god you are in the heart of rover country of nj. more dealers in the area then maryland.

and no an autoparts store wont have one unless the order it from the dealer.

suck it up and go to the dealer its that easy. heck put it in at the dealership;

Ill call the local dealership tommorow morning and have the part ordered...also, its on expedition exchange.com for sale but im not sure if thats the correct part because the one in my truck looks just a touch differnent
