Default Emergency Brake Boot '00 Disco 2

Does anyone have a clue where you can get one of these? I've tried a few of the junk yards on ebay and around here and I've had no luck. I'm afraid to mess with the dealer. Its just one of those little things that bother me about the Disco.

Thanks,
Greg

Try Used Range Rover Parts : Land Rover Replacement Discovery Parts . They are located in OK. I had trouble finding some parts and this guy helped me out. Basically what you do is fill in a form and what you are looking for and he will usually call in a day or two and tell you if he has one.

Also you can go to Land Range Rover Sport LR3 LR2 Discovery Defender Freelander Genuine OEM Accessories Parts and look under Parts, Discovery II 99-04 and near the bottom of the page you will find interior parts. They have the boot for the handbrake for something like 38.00 new. If you can't find it, send me a message and I will try to email you the page. Their number is 801.942.0030 and the part number for the handbrake boot is RCDSGTR . They refer to it as a handbrake gaiter.

Hope this helps you find what you are looking for,

Bama,
I took my boot off and into a woman who is a seamtress. She mends, stitches, etc. She traced the pattern and costom stitched a full grain leather which was about three times the quality you would ever find! I paid $15 bucks! "bombproof!"

Actually Bodie has a good idea. I had not thought of that. I am sure the quality is better and will out last the OEM . Good one, I'll have to remember that when I need mine repaired.
