Rovin4life recommended I use it on the rocker cover gaskets as well as around the water ports between the intake and heads. I cleaned all the surfaces EXTREMELY well before reassembly but I figured the extra sealant couldn't hurt. I hadn't used the aviation sealant before but it seemed to work pretty effectively. It comes in a little white bottle from NAPA with a brush applicator. It tells you to apply to both surfaces, allow to dry for a minute or two then reassembly. It becomes a bit tacky and made assembly a snap. The aviation sealant is very resistant to aviation fuels and oil based fluids as well. I hope it works. I am counting on having a clean engine.
