I think the olive oil advice with the lucas additive was the most useful information on this thread.

lucas fuel with an oil that meets ACEA A3/B3 rating

Hi,
I had similar clicking - it turned out to be the valley cover gasket (which is a metal gasket) due to pressure build up in the top of the motor due to blocked PCV. Pretty simple to chekc your crankcase breathers !!

Default What grade of gas are you using?

What grade of gas do you use? If it is not 93 octaine..you most likely have a carbon build up on one of the valves.

I think engine flushing is a bad idea overall. Just change your oil every 3k. The gaskets on these trucks are weak to begin with..add a little solvent to them and boom...instant leak for life.
