what kind of sound?
Also that sound slike normal operation on the temp gauge it takes a min for it to get a reading and to send the gauge to the appropriate spot.

yep...I had one that sounded like a diesel when you started it...sludge had built up in the engine and blocked the return in the oil pan...Theres a tiny filter or some sort of screen that can be clogged up and reduce oil circulation in the engine. When was the oil changed last? My mechanic recommends a strict 3k mile oil change schedule...Mine's a hundred or so past due on service...but definantely check the oil and get the oil changed soon if it hasnt been done recently...and have someone pull the pan and check that screen...you may even go as far as flushing the motor with engine flush or tranny fluid...theres some recommendations floating around here...I'm sure if I'm wrong someone will correct me...
Mike is the man when it comes to these things...I've learned alot from reading what he's put up here... |
