Default Everybody is fine

This is what happens when you drive too closely to a 15 and a half year old with her driver's permit, when someone whips in front of her and slams on their brakes.

It's also good to have a car in working order. According to the owner and driver this vehicle had brake "problems". Not something you should admit at the scene of an accident. And I found out just a hour ago, can you guess???
Yep, no insurance.
They seemed sincere about "making it right". But the house they live in and the condition of the cars out front, do not lend me to believe I'll ever see a dime.

Lesson learned:
Being a nice guy is for saps. I should have called the cops, let that driver get the ticket and the suspension for no insurance and the car towed. Etc...

So basically I did them a huge favor not getting the cops there. So will this help me get paid? Not likely.

The pic of the Disco is not very good. I'll get a better one tomorrow. Basically you can see the bumper imprint on their car. They broke the fog lights and pushed the bumper in a bit. Hardly noticeable.

Erica was very shaken up. But she is fine now. I gave her the piece of tail light to remember to drive safely.

Yeah. That is the Buick the kid behind us was driving. Minivan pulled in front of us, second minivan CUT in front of us, and a car in front of them decided to turn left in traffic. So we had to apply heavy brakes. Erica (my daughter) panicked and locked them up. Then the Buick slammed into us from behind.
