Exclamation Exhaust Upgrade for my Disco II

I recently purchased my 2002 Disco II from a family friend. The truck has had about 20 thousand miles put on it in Virgina, but is an original Georgia vehical and there are a few things that are on my list to fix. I'm a young gun and I like a nice sounding exhaust. I have been looking at the Borla upgrade from AtlanticBritish.com. Is it a good way to go? Also any suggestions on what I should do with the windshield spray jet hoses that have deteriorated? Either fix them myself or take it to the local dealership? Thanks!

Well, not my field of interest at all, but some have claimed a nice V8 rumble by just removing the resonator and leaving the original muffler. Costs next to nothing and you get the sound you're after.

Look it up on youtube.

I have had my factory muffler removed, and a magnoflow put in its place...cost me $100...and I'm still kicking around the idea of removing the resonator...I just dont want my truck to be too loud. It has a nice sound to it now, I think, I'm just waiting until I get the muffler broken in and I'll make a decision on removing the resonator...I think they said they'd charge me around $20 to remove the resonator and replace it with just a tailpipe.

Borla stuff has always been very expensive in things i've dealt with in the past...and sounded a bit too tame for me, I prefer magnaflows because I like a decent rumble, but not a flowmaster growl...

as for the windshield washer things, the passenger side one on my truck broke, i had to glue the hose to the bottom of it, I believe you can pick them up for $10 to $15 each from ebay or a few rover sites on the internet.

Oh yea, the exhaust helped my truck's get up an go alot...mpg went up a bit as well.

i just had the resonator removed from my disco. sounds good, but not much louder. definitely has a more throaty tone, but i doubt anybody would notice unless you told them.

Just buy new hoses at the store. They are just plastic or rubber hoses. Nothing fancy. Dealer would probably charge some coin.

The Borla gives my Disco a good rumble. It doesn't sound ridiculously loud like all the F150s with their flowmasters

x2 on the Borla. Shop around on the internet for a cheaper price. Borla give's a good rumble at idle and nice burble when you let off the skinny pedal. The install is also easy. I did mine in the garage by myself in about an hour most of that was taking the old one off. The Borla is also much lighter.

cool. yeah i dont want that overly annoying f150 sound. i had a f150 with a mangaflow, which wasnt overly loud, but im sick of all things f150 so nice rumble and burble sounds good to me.

as far as the hoses, i bought some hoses from Lowes by the foot and a couple of clamps... most def, no dealer needed for that.
