Default Factory Amplifier Wiring

I have a 2001 Disco II SD. I have an factory amplifier but have little idea on how to wire it. The Rave Cd says that "power is supplied from the passenger compartment fuse box. The amplifier will power up when an enable logic signal is sent from the radio cassette, this signal is sent by the radio cassette when it is turned on." Where would I get the connection to go to the fuse box? Where is the passenger compartment fuse box?

So, let me see if I understand. You do not currently have the amp installed, and you want to know how to properly wire it up to get power? I do know there are wiring diagrams for the radio on the net, but I don't know about the AMP. You could wire it directly to the battery, or to the fuse box, which I believe is under the steering wheel area (should be a small area that you can remove two "screws". I can't remember. The AMP should also have a wire that is supposed to go to the radio which is a "on/off" wire. When you turn the radio on, it sends a signal to the AMP to also turn on.

I have a 2002 Disco II SE, and I replaced the head unit with a Alpine. I kept the original AMP. (I posted a writeup on one of the LR forums, but I don't remember which one)

The amp is a factory amp for Land Rover. Apparently, according to Crutchfield, the amp would work only with the Harmon Kardon sound system. The amp would sync up with the radio remotely which is what the Rave CD means when it says "logic signal is sent from the radio cassette." I don't think the factory radio I have in the dash is a Harmon Kardon amp, so I may be SOL.
