Last night I was driving down the road and all of the sudden the heater fan started to tick. I checked this morning and still ticking. I thought something might have fell down in there somehow, but I don't see how. Is there any known problems with the fan motor not lasting?

It's actually pretty common for pieces of leaves, etc, to make it down in there from the intake, which is just below the windshield. Given the time of year, I would say that's the most likely cause. Mine did this too for a few days right after I got it last month.
