I recently had an alternator die on my truck on a highway. Right after that, the odometer reading started flashing. The alternator has been replace but the odometer continues to flash and nothing in the manual addresses this issue. This is a 2000 Land Rover Series II.
Any ideas on how this can be stopped? |

There was a thread about this not to long ago. I believe flashing odometer means the mileage shown and ecu mileage do not match.
Edit: Here ya go Why does my odometer blink? Do a search on "odometer" and you'll find a couple of threads on the subject.
