your fine, the DII has both top and bottom loop style on the front and rear shocks. Be happy, the post-style ones are a bitch to work with.....the shock turns as the bolt turns....we had to use a torque wrench on my buddy's DI.

You can't be an" IDIOT " cause you own a DII which is good.

If you're putting a lift from RTE on a DII, I would suggest the front lower shock mounts. They are fairly inexpensive but a huge improvement over the stock design which basically welds the center bolt onto the plate. I broke the weld on mind. RTEs are bomb proof and a better design. If you are putting in the new shocks, you may as well replace the lower mounts. I would also recommend EEs rear upper spring retainers,,if you are going to remove the rear sway bar to capture the full articulation,,,these are pancake-style retainers. The bolts go in from the bottom rather than the top, which is a better design IMO, and the pancake-style retainer is tougher than the rectangular plate style.,,, I know because I broke them too....
