Can you reproduce it by turning the steering wheel when standing still or does it only make the noise while moving?
Does it only happen when you turn left, right, or either way?
Is it associated with any sort of vibration?
Probably not the driveshaft or brakes as they shouldn't articulate when you turn.
Could be ball joints.
Could be tie rod/drag link.
Could be CV axle.
Could be steering pump.
Could be steering gear box.
Do a visual inspection of all those components. If your ball joints/tie rod/CV boots are torn, any one of those components could be failing and in need of replacement.
It's probably one of my suspension components like Bosnian mentioned. It occurs when I move the steering wheel. Not sure if it is limited to the truck's movement or not.
I had a squeaking noise at low speed. I had it in the garage and they replaced the pads. It didn’t solve the problem. They told me the pads will take time to bed in after 2 weeks and and the noise getting worse. A little investigation of my own I found it to be the heat shield touching the steering column.
Another thing to check would be ball joints.
Visually, if the rubber boots are cracked the joints they are due to be replaced.
They can creak and squeal without showing any signs of excessive play.
