Front end noise - Land Rovers Only

Problem?- I have a noise from the left front end when turning the wheeling sharply to the right and lowish speed - like existing a diveway, not really a thump thump, more like a whrrr.

Any thoughts,

If it changes pitch with RPM, its probably the power steering pump.

Are you talking about your right CV joint, is it making a clicking sound?
How about your brakes, are they dragging? How about a wheel bearing failing?
What have you checked so far?
