Default Getting 265/75R16 MTR's What should I watch out for?

I just wanted to know what if anythings I should be watch out for when I go wheelin this weekend. I am greasing the ujoints fri and oil change. Any other words of whizz dumb.

66k fluids changed this fri day , will I get any rubbing with 2in lift?

You should be fine with a 2" lift.

I run 265/75/16 AT's on a 99 DII stock suspention without any rubbing.

Then you don't really wheel it do you? They will rub the front bumper edge with no lift.

Still waiting to get my lift. However looking to get a 2" or 3" RTE lift in the next couple of months.

The only other thing to watch for with those MTR's is horrible traction in mud. In that size they don't seem to be able to shed the mud from their tread very well. That's been the most common complaint about that tire. Remember that MTR stands for Maximum TRaction, not Mud Terrain.

You also might want to adjust your steering stops by putting a couple of washer behind them. This should stop the tyres also rubbing on the steering components. But you find the most rubbing will be on the facotry plastic bumpers..thats why most people over here get rid of them and replace them with a bull bar.

Update, Went out to the Big Bear Mountains and fellas I am in Love. MTR's with the 2in fit great. No rub and no complaints. Thanks for all the input, as soon as I can upload pictures I will.
