hi i drove down to daytona beach this past month fron new jersey and spent about $750 in gas total. i was told about this HHO fuel cell down south and began to do some research about it now that i'm back and sounds very interesting. i was concidering hooking one up to my discovery 2. has anyone tried this yet? i'm open to all types of suggestions since i'm new to the land rover family. thanks

Im slightly familiar with Hydrogen Boosting gas engines which is a little different to what you have in mind.

The engines the guys use are Wankel Rotary Engines found in Mazda Rx-7's and other RX models. To my knowledge there wasn't a HUGE increase in fuel milage.

The basic Idea was to use the vehicles electrical system to force H2O to react and the hydrogen was collected. It was then injected directly into the intake manifold through a vaccuum port. From what I remember, the engine ran normally on gasoline, the added Hydrogen added to the fuel mixture and the computer adjusted automatically.
